My name is Hettie Willekes. I've retired from classroom teaching but continue to enjoy spending time with children. I find it satisfying to witness their excitement and growth in confidence when they experience success with learning to read and write.
Tutoring children individually is deeply satisfying to me. I can be responsive to specific needs and interests and help the
children open their minds to the world of books and
reading.
I've had many years of experience designing challenging,
enriching and innovative learning materials and
programs. I have always greatly enjoyed this aspect of
teaching and continue to bring these creative talents to
private tutoring.
